I was mad when I took my car into AC for a service and it came back out with a sticker (I had removed the original). Fortunately it peeled off easily but I was annoyed enough to mention it to Fiat when they phoned me for a customer review of my service experience. Next time I get my car serviced there I will make a point telling them not to stick their branding on my car - their service simply doesn't warrant free advertising.

I work for a dealership and still take the sticker out of all my cars.

Nothing to do with not wanting to advertise where I work, I just think they look horrible! :(

Nowhere near as bad as Chatsworth Honda in Nottingham though, they used to (and may still do) have metal-looking badges made up (basically the same as the model name badges on most cars) that they stuck on the outside of all the cars they sold!

i removed the sticker on my back window so i could put my ff sticker where it was :D

i also removed the front tax disc holder as it was a bit rubbish, and relaced it with a metal abarth one (y)

Normally I wouldn't bother but due to the fact I had so much grief and hastle from the dealer I bought from, I took the rear window sticker (now has FF stick in the back window), tax disc holder (now has a plain one) and number plates off (now has private plate) on principle because I didn't want to advertise that dealer or the fact I had bought a car from them.

FJ Chalke in Somerset do a similar thing except they stick a little chrome plated dog on the back of all their cars .
If I went to pick up my brand new car and the idiots had vandalised it like that I would demand a completely new car, just to make a point .

one of the first things i do when i buy a car is remove all the stickers. my 156 had a sticker in the windscreen saying the engine was developed with race technology which is why it burns oil, you've gotta love crap excuses.

that should be illegal, its vandalism and advertising on private property without consent. buy a big pack of stickers that say something mildly offensive, such as 'i eat dick', and then have a sticker frenzy on the forecourt. fair's fair after all. if possible get stickers that leave a nasty mark when removed, muhaha
