ok, well some of you know that dave has offered to be a mod, taking the place of richieC, because he has now unfortunately left the forum.
A few of us have pm'd ben to get dave to be a mod - but we have had no response - bad lad[}]

so this is my last feeble attempt to help dave, so:

I think it also helps to have moderators on here who log on frequently [like me ].

Sometimes threads go on leisure lounge, for example, and no one seems to be around to actually nip things in the bud. I mean, look at that eBay thing a few weeks ago!

Vote Dave!. He gave me some advice on my car. When I took it to the garage they tried to fob me off saying it was one thing then another. I then quoted Dave's advise and it turns out he was right twice! Legend!

A bit too late I think on that last vote, lol - he became a mod a week or two ago
