General The White 100HP...

I gave my car a visit today.
First time I have actually seen it as those pictures were taken by my dad.
couldn't take any pictures as it was being HPI checked but, I do bellieve the pictures do not do the car justice. It looks amazing and I am so pleased I have gone for the white.
Everyone in the dealership was commenting :D

I had a slight scare though and that was I couldn't find the subwoofer. I thought it would be in the boot like on Punto's and Stilo's but it was actually under the driver's seat. Odd place for it I thought!!

Iperhaps near a ferry terminal to let you mainland europe guys come over?

That's a goed idea!!
I think that my girlfriend and i are coming to this meet!
Maybe together with Driveseis, the other dutch 100HP-driver on this forum.

Who knows??

For me its an hour drive to Hoek van Holland (thats where the ferry is at our side)
The only thing is i have to arange something for my two boys.
Maybe grandma and granddad??

We'll see

Greetz,

Driveseis

Are any Panda owners heading to the Auto Italia Spring Italian Car Meet at Brooklands on 5th April?

I added a link to the nuovapandahp forum to my website last night, but I think when I changed some of the gallery pictures it messed-up some of posts; please apologise to our Italian cousins for me.
Thank you (y)

I've found that forum very useful but am slightly restricted by babelfish's translations. :O)

Did you see the red 100hp with the aftermarket alloys?:yuck:

And the black one with the red 'trim' both inside and outside?

I can only view the pictures as my italian stretches to ALFA Romeo, supermiafiori, lamborghini, Peroni and Nasti Assuro, but those certainly ruined my enjoyment.

Oh, and to add injury to insult - looks like we are going to be h*mped by Italy at today's six nations at Murrayfield.

Don't know if I should be driving an italian car on Scotland's roads today. If only FIAT dealer's Parts Departments could get parts as quick as the italian rugby squad can score trys.

Must admit I have some sort of inverse pride in telling people that I'm getting a Polish car, just hope it's not misplaced given their previous efforts but this is the first forum I've joined that spends longer discussing colour and locking fuel caps than 'real' problems so I guess they are that well made.

Still mine is called Luigi rather than <insert some Polish name>.

Mine is (or will be) a feisty and absolutely gorgeous italian called Isabella. Although she's born in Poland, this italian through and through (parents are italian afterall ;) ). :D

Dont fret about Polish Fiats, they are good, the Polish 126s are more robust than their Italian cousins, and the Cinqs and Seicentos were made there too. I honestly feel that the quality of them is easily as good if not better than Italian cars. You cant get a better built small car than the new Panda so theres a testimant to the factory.

If that Top Gear survey is to be believed the build quality is far better than the Italian built ones.

Dont fret, youre not driving an Italian car, theyre made in Poland so hold your head up high!

Ah yes...true enough - but try explaining that little known fact to an angry drunken mob of Border's farmer/lawyer types in Sauchiehall Street kicking lumps out of the flimsy metalwork. Next you'll be telling me that 'Fords' aren't made in the United States of America.

Just a quick note to say that I have posted more pics in the "Member's Motors" section under the name of "First Day Fun." I love my Panda =]

Nice shots mate........OK Tom - you can lead the 100HP convoy at the Summer '07 meet.;)

Don't know if you've spotted the pics of your car on the Italian 100HP Owners Forum mate - but somebody has decided to do some dodgy 'photoshop' work on your open skydome pic - giving it some red trim.:yuck:

Probably best if you have a bucket handy before having a look.
