remember i am having this problem before
"The engine keeps reviving in between gear changes. Before this problem for any gear change (done automatically) there was no need for me to lift my foot off the accelerator.
Now I have to lift my foot off the accelerator to prevent it from reviving before it changes into the next gear.
every time when turning the engine one the display "engine system failure" appear"
well send the panda to the service center, they have no idea what caused it. i give the a hint to check three thing i,e the throttle position sensor, idle speed control valve and switch on top of accelerator paddle.
i saw them checking with the examinar, resetting still cannot solved the problem, at last they follow my advice, i saw the checking throttle position sensor, then the speed control valve then the accelerator paddle, and they confirm the problem come from the paddle.
so they change the whole set i.e accelerator paddle as the switch is attched to it ( you know the whole thing is made of plastic!!)
return back to me ...not a problem any more..so fi anyone having the same problem, get them to check the accelerator paddle.
i got this clue from alfa club.
cost of the thing usd 140. luckily my panda still under warranty, so its free
