Has anyone fitted mud flaps to there panda (specifically the 4x4 if it makes any difference).

Just picked up the mudflaps from the dealer who said that they clipped on, but looking at them there are 4 self tappers for each and look like they need drilling, is this the case, the postions don't even seem to be marked.

May take back to the dealer and get them to fit as don't fancy drilling holes in my brand new car !!!

I wanted some for mine, but didn't fancy drillin' oles in it. Haven't seen any clip-on ones..............

They do self tap on. Mine were put on by the dealer but I checked and all your doing is screwing them through the plastic inner arch, it won't do any damage to the car. I think they suit the car. (4x4)
I haven't got posting the pics on my site yet but hope to do it tomorrow if you want to hold off to have a look first.

Will definetly put them on as I think they look good on the 4x4 especially with teh little 4x4 logo on, just thought it would be easier to get the dealer to put them on, I'll give them a ring today and get them to fit them for me

Congrats on the new car, theyre great aren't they I've had mine nearly a week now :D

Thanks

Damn I was going to offer you the set I had... I bought them, and then it seemed to rain for weeks, then decided I didn't want the hassle of fitting them myself... :bang:

Im really not sure, that mudflaps is good idea. Actually, if you ever go off the road with your Panda 4x4 (thats fits other allroaders too), you should know, that mudflaps are one of the weakest parts in your car in aspect non-serious car damage due the terrain obstacles. They broke quite easy on stones, they steal you valuable degrees in reverse climbing-angle and so on.

ofc, if you dont wanna/need to go off the road, I can agree, that they (mudflaps) add some accent in your Panda's 4x4 exterrior. And, if they (Im not sure about that) prevent your rear window to became dirty, even better.
