Our local dealer is offering 0% interest over 3 years on new Pandas. I'm not the worlds best negotiator but what do you think my chances are of haggling with the dealer on price, or (more importantly), options if I was to take the 0% finance option?

you can haggle on the price - my boyfriend had a price in mind, before they even started they knocked £500 off then i got them to knock another £300

I would think that you'd have less room for haggling than if you walked in there with a pile of cash.
Plus also the Panda is relatively new and popular, so you're unlikely to get one for half the list price (it ain't no Stilo! )
However, you should be able to get several hundred pounds off. Give it a go!

As much as I'd like one, we can't justify a Multijet so it will be a 1.2. I'm toying with the idea of getting air-con and I'd like to load it up a bit with alloys, roof bars, metallic paint, fogs etc. so perhaps the dealer will cut me sum slack there?

which panda are you after though? 4x4, eleganza - how much are you looking to spend?

Eventhough the multijet is more expensive, its very good and cheap on fuel.

Fingers crossed, but Ive just ordered a newie, went into 2 fiat dealers who werent too interested in giving any discount. Went into 3rd dealers on bank holiday monday, it was a slow day, so managed to get a deal I couldnt say no to.
If anyone is out there (sorry about this) whom is a Civil servant, ex CS, or has cousin 2nd removed sort of relative who is. You can get approx 15-18% discount off list price on any model of panda,delivered to your door. Less than 100 miles delivery mileage, half tank of fuel, free mats, 12 months tax..
If you want any details, just say and I will post details on for anyone to have a look.

Ps..I was thinking of getting % interest, but if you go for low % rate instead, it gives the dealer more room to give you a more attractive deal overall

I mentioned the prices FIATSUPASAVER were offering on new pandas, got the normal 'we can't buy them for that price' walked out, then two days later the local dealer had matched the FIATSUPASAVER price to within a couple of hundred quid. So all in all got a £10,500 panda 4x4 with aircon and metalic paint for just over £8k !!!

Still got to wait two week cant wait !!!

when i bought mine, i just rung the guy up and said 'i will come down and put a deposit on the panda, as long as you provide the 15' low pie alloys and 1 years tax for free' and he said yes!! bargin
