We need a cheap 2nd car and I saw this and could not stop myself. Its cheap but not as cheap as I was planning. But it was just so clean I could not help but buy it. Its a 1 owner from new car with a fully stamped service book. I could not find a dent or scratch on it. The little 1.2 fire unit fired up and sounded very enthusiastic. Its an odd driving position at first as you sit quite high. And I found at first I was reaching too low for the gearlever. But after a while its really quite nice. Its a nippy little thing too and doesnt feel that wallowy when you get a bit spirited on the back lanes.

Not certain at this stage if I will do anything to it. But I do like subtle mods. Anyway here it is.

Don't do anything to that beauty. It's a gem. If you must change the radio, absolutely keep the OEM safe as it suits the car far better than flashing lights Chinese junk often fitted.

Some nice pepper pot steel wheels in 5J x 14 would look nice**. Painted silver they have a similar style to the old Alfa Spyder wheels for very little money. But if your 155x13 tyres are fairly new don't waste them. At least use them this winter.

** its a whole thread on its own as the offset (ET) and tyre aspect ratio have to be correct.

Looks very nice.
The first thing I did was change the wheels. This is because behind the plastic wheel trims I found really bad rusty wheels. I suppose people don't tend to clean the wheels with trims in the way.
I over exposed the pic to show up the wheels.
Mine is automatic and cost me a mere £650 and was in first class condition..
One of the later tasks was to cut away the broken bumper area. the upper bolt has a truck horn attached to it.
If you take a look at my other posts you can see some of the other mods.

So I have noticed a small dink in its otherwise excellent armour. There is a slight rattle from I think the rear near side wheel area. It’s not the exhaust as that feels solid.

with the car on level ground grab the shock near the top and see if it rattles

Thanks so quickly realising I couldnt check this behind the wheel because of the plastic liner I had to get behind and shove my arm up his ass. Im pleased to say Paollo took it in his stride. Anyway I could not detect any rattling. Even wondered if the spare wheel was loose but nope.

I got my steels from Oponeo for reasonable money. Then painted them in bright silver and found some back centre trims to hide the axle centre nut.

thanks for the photo

hard to tell. But looks like the metal Bush has come away from the rubber Bush

are you sure there's no movement here !
