I dont comment on styling normally, I dont care as long as the car goes from A to B

However there is a trend at the moment for Black wheels

To me it just looks like two great Black hole from the side

which is what it looks like on the above pictures.

But thats just my opinion. Please just disregard it, styling is a personal thing.

Yep I agree. The waze came with black trims on its easy-rust steel wheels. They look gross as soon as you have travelled 25 miles. My free alloys from Fiat look better and dont show the much half as much. Just use the steels for winter now. Icant see the appeal. In this case steel wheels and unpainted trims were obviously cheaper to make.

I’ve been on the hunt for roof bars but no luck, going to try another breaker tomorrow

Softly softly cactchy monkey. They come along cheap once in a while, bide your time, but be very quick once you see a good price as they move fast.

Hi again,

I decided to wrap the door pillars black, from distance it actually looks pretty good, but close up its a dodgy job. The vinyl was cheap and from the range (I don’t know if it’s water resistant but time will tell).

I have also finally fitted my private plate on, which makes it stand out from other pandas.

I have also ordered silver spray cans from Amazon, just waiting for the right time to spray the steelies.

Hmm? Just looking at Becky whose paintwork is white. The rear pillars, behind the rear doors, are already wrapped in black. I think wrapping the door pillars, as you've done, would look really rather good! Thanks.

In fact my youngest boy does body wraps - Vans, Taxis etc - so maybe he'd do that for nothing for me?

were some done at factory ?

in my opinion it blends the windows into one mass which smooths the shape of the car out.

quite a few White eco seem to have Black pillars and roof bars.

Ha ha ha. No kinchance. It doesn't work like that. Although not to ungracious youngest just coughed £100 to ease the rather large run of costs on her chariot so I must be fair and say so!! This should go on the whats made me smile thread!

Hey guys,

I finally got around spraying my steelies silver.

I want to know your guys opinion if I should stay with the silver steelies or just put a wheel trim on top.

(I still need to remove the masking tape from the bolts)

Oh yes, I really like both the black pillars and the wheels. Definitely leave the wheels the way they are. Seriously thinking of doing mine now which will also get over the problem of Mrs J rubbing the trims against the kerb

I have 6j x 15 pepper pot on the 100HP with ET taken from the buckled alloys. They look great in pale silver but IMO are a bit too wide. Don’t go bigger than 170 on a slower car and be absolutely sure the ET value is correct.
