Hello community! I open this topic with the hope that I will be able to find a solution to a problem.

I own a Fiat Panda 169 2006 1.1 and the position on the left side does not work (neither in front, nor in the back).

From what I noticed on the streets, I'm not the only one with this problem (I know of at least two identical models with the same issue).

I checked the bulbs, fuses and relays, the easily accessible plugs and cables, the motherboard where the plugs go (under the steering wheel) ...

I don't know what to do now. I thought the problem could be with the computer or the motherboard mentioned above.

What do you think? Do you have any ideas? Do you know the solution?

I would be grateful if you could help me!

Love you all and thank you in advance! :slayer:

position lights ?

is that what we call parking lights in the UK

As in

with the indicator off. Take the key out

switch the lights on, off and on again

the side lights come on

move the indicator up or down to switch only one side on

or are we talking about the side lights not working ?

Hey! Thanks for the reply!! :slayer:
It seems that I don't know how are these called in english.
The issue is with the first gear of lights, on the left side of the car (as you can see in the picture)

as far as I can see there is no connection between the font and rear side lights

the front and rear are controlled by different connectors on the body computer computer

and different grounds

the left and right use the same fuses.

do you have a volt meter / multi meter ?

Thanks again for the reply! :worship:
I measured at the end of the bulb
And I had ground on one of them
And the 12V one had 0V

carefully check the rear brake lights

is one slightly dimmer when compared to the other ?

if you turn the lights off the back on do they briefly flicker on ?

did you get anywhere with this

both are run from the same connected junction of the body computer

if it overloads due to a fault or wrong bulb it shuts down both lights

I see several people have fitted a brake light bulb when this has happened and changing or refitting it has fixed the problem

If you remove the brake light does the front work again ?

On the 169 Panda to get all Position/side/parking lights on you must have
the indicator/turn light switch in the mid off position, if set to left or right
only one side of the position lights will light.

talking about only one side of the sidelights working

my diagnostic software call side lights, position lights. Although its not easy with translation.

fairly common after fitting a new brake bulb.
