Hi

I have a leaking main fuel pipe, The one from the filler to the tank on my 100hp.

I need a replacement and they are expensive from the dealers so I need to look elsewhere. Does anyone know where I can by either a pattern part or a used one please?

About £60 new pattern part

breakers would be the way to go

The First I have heard fail. I suspect a standard 1.1 or 1.2 will fit ? Been in an accident.

Take it off yourself type breakers will probably charge their minimum £5 and be glad to get rid of it. I wouldn't pay more than 1/2 price if they are taking it off.

Weird place to get a leak...

Poorly fitted clip is a possibility..
From experience of swapping tanks around

£60 pattern part would be fine but I can’t find one.
The problem was caused by a previous owner fitting coil overs and they were rubbing against the return pipe which subsequently holed.

The first time I filled up I lost a gallon on the garage forecourt and they were not happy so can only put £20 a time in now until it is replaced

translate and search on either the Italian or Polish ebay

something like this

TUBO SERBATOIO CARBURANTE FIAT PANDA

ones just sold 33 euro including shipping new old stock, postage was more than the part

or something like

Wlew paliwa rura Panda

part number for 1.2 and 1.1

I would still use a breakers. They have must throw dozens away as it not a common part to go

I missed that, so was thinking of the return line.

Can you repair the damaged section with some straight hose and a steel or aluminium backing ring/tube? ASH offer fluoro lined hoses for oil and fuel applications. https://www.autosiliconehoses.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=+fluoro+silicone

i have used it with success on oil cooler pipes. The only issue I found was that small pipes need clips to be just big enough. What appear suitable can go D shape (and leak) before the joint is adequately tight.

Ive just looked again at this material is NOT SUITABLE for constant immersion in fuel. Sorry.
They say
Fuel & oil silicone 90 degree elbow hoses are designed to connect metal pipe work and components in systems that contain hydrocarbon fluids such as petrol, diesel, oil and solvents. The fluorosilicone liner allows short term contact with these fluids and vapors, but is not suitable for permanent transfer (fuel or oil lines), or immersion in fuel or oil.

That all said, I had the 9.5mm version on a motor bike oil cooler oil pipework for at least a year with no problems whatsoever. I had it off the bike when the valve clearances were done so got to look inside and all ok.

On the plus-side, this might work. The 500 fuel tank is the same as 169 Panda. Top end of the filler might even be the same, but you could joint your's to this -

Thanks everyone, I missed the 33 euro one so am still looking if anyone sees another for sale please let me know.

I missed the 33 euro one but many thanks.

I have bought one from RDGLON website but think maybe it is a scam site.

Has anyone used it before? The reason I ask is that the pipes are £38 including delivery new, however my paypal payment was taken in US dollars.
