Hi all, my 2007 fiat Panda 1.2 Blaupunkt head unit has decided to only now play music through the back right speaker only, so i thought i'd treat my Panda to a lovely new Android head unit. I thought a 10'' screen would look great in her. (As well as the added bonus of GPS, a net connection, spotify and youtube)
. Now im running into difficulty, i have searched Amazon, ebay and dozens of others and even the ''universal'' ones won't fit my panda. I have found one made by Topnavi, which is plug and play, but they are no longer selling them.

So i am asking all Panda owners, do you have an android unit which one?
If you do have a 9 or 10'' head unit, was it hard to fit/secure?

I don't want to blow £100+ quid on a stereo that wont fit.

Thanks for your help. :worship:

I've got an apple car play unit which is similar enough. I can't recommend you any android ones in particular but just look for a double din head unit with the features that you need and it should fit. Mine is only 7" so I guess 9 or 10 is doable as there is plenty of space there. It was an easy fit and personally I wouldn't got anything larger than that in a panda.

Thanks for the replies, I changed my mind from a double din to a single din, with a 7'' screen, https://www.banggood.com/7-Inch-1-D...1GB+16GB-GPS-Wifi-bluetooth-FM-p-1559106.html

I also bought a single din fascia with a little ''shelf'' underneath. I bought another set of iso plugs, so when i cut them to wire into the stereo's sixteen pin, i won't be damaging any of the cars own wiring, which of course is the best thing to do.

To be honest i started to doubt that a double din 10'' would fit, so i figured the above unit will do the same thing, with a slightly smaller screen, and almost half the price. But pretty much still the same spec, apart from it running Android 8.1 instead of 10. But it will do pretty much what i want it to do.

Thanks for the advice guys.

That looks amazing for the price.
Can you keep us up to date with this one ie performance ease of use etc.

Some pics of it in the car would be good

Thanks Chri

the one about 10 threads down in the I.C.E. section looks good fitted in a Punto Grande. Looks factory fitted.

Did a quick search with are Chinese friends. For some reason I can find a dozen or so complete kits for the Punto but none for the Panda

The surrounds on eBay seem to be of variable quality. Some of the feedback ate pretty poor for some

I have one of the Topnavi headunits in my 100HP there was another manufacturer called Seicane making an identical head unit.

Sorry for the delay, but i had only just gotten around to fitting it Yesterday. I had some problems. I do not have a permanent live, only an ignition live, but the stereo remembers everything I have set, except the time and date, but it picks that up from GPS.
Once wired in, which was easy with the power connections, and speaker colours from the unit match those in the iso adapter. I had to bend the original cage upwards to allow the aerial connection, as all connections sit on top of the unit. Its fairly fast, but don't try to run to many apps at once as it will slow down. Radio tuner identifies stations and displays their names (It even displays station info from my autodab DAB+ adapter) It sounds ok, not awesome but acceptable, and you can always download extra apps to boost base, volume etc. Bluetooth phone book downloads and store data quick, bluetooth connection is lightning fast and of course you have wireless mirror link from Iphone to unit, and two way from Android handsets to unit. There are two USB ports to attach flash drives and phones. Downloadable ''offline'' google maps are available as well. GPS is quick, and of course the maps display as fast as your connection allows. Bear in mind this unit is 2GHZ wifi only, but it plays nice with my wifi connection and with my iphone turned into a hotspot. Touch screen is nice an intuitive, but this is the budget model. Built in microphone for calls. Video display is nice and crisp, the ''home'' screen displays a picture of a car, and your current speed in KMH.
This unit has 16GB of memory which of course some is used to handle the OS and associative apps, so you won't be able to have 1000's of apps.
Once i wired the iso adapter to the units wiring (most are clearly marked) which took about ten minutes, then fitting, which took another ten. Downside is the fascia i bought is slightly off colour to my dash, and is about 1mm out. But it looks good.
I can't figure out how to attach photo's to this forum, so if you give me a tip on how to do it, i will upload the pics.

Yes I've seen Seicane ones £327.28 and of course they've been out of stock for months. I'd been hunting the Topnavi ever since i became aware of them, but despite hundreds of different sellers, not one has any in stock.

But Damn, yours looks good. :slayer:

It does everything I need it too, there was an issue getting the steering wheel controls to work mainly because they'd put 2 two pin plugs on that had to be cut off and connected to 3 other wires that were all part of the stereo loom that they'd supplied and there are many many wires to fit into the space around the stereo but it all fits now.
