Hello again.
You really did go for the top spec. Sat Nav. Skydome. Split seats. Air Con. Any more?
That looks like a really nice car. I'm jelous.
Now go and have some adventures in all that snow and let us know how it goes.

Thanks. Yes i have to test it in snow this week end.
Extras on mine are Connect nav+, adjustable rear seat +/-8cm, skydome, hifi+subwoofer, 5 CD changer, auto setting for airco.
In france the rest is standard equipment : rear split seats, manual airco, electric mirrors, audio settings from wheel, alloy wheels, fog lamps, ...

Laurent

Please don't rub it in, you're making me jealous. I've only got the bog standard multijet.
Please give your opinion of the 4x4 after the weekend.

I had a run in the snow this morning. This car is incredible of efficiency.
Panda has a good handling and nothing seems to stop it in these conditions.
You don't really feel something in the system when the rear wheels start to work. It is discreet.
Mine has been delivered with snow tires so this might improve a little bit the handling but anyway, it is very safe in low adherence conditions.
Here are some pics of the run...

Didn't think the diesel was available in the 4x4?

He is in France

It say's so in his information bit, and the first post.

Fiat do make a LHD 4x4 multijet, they just seem to think the UK is not worth the effort. Like making a proper Stilo RHD conversion for example...

Hope you wern't presuming I am thick with them big letters...

Try going to the Fiat France website www.fiat.fr You dont need a degree in French to browse to 'modeles' find the Panda 4x4 and 'configuration'

Shows only the 1.2 8v and the 1.2 8v CLIMBING. No mention of the availability of the 1.3 multijet 4x4.

Right hand drive is not available from France.
Might be possible in Belgium. I know that some cars can be ordered with right hand drive as optional equipment. (some VW for example)

Also here in Romania they sell the 4x4 with multijet, www.fiat.com.ro . I mean, they _say_ they sell the 4x4 multijet. You'd actually have to order one to find out for real

I spoke to my local Fiat dealer last wek about the Monster 4x4. Fiat have said they cannot do a RHD diesel at this time as the costs of converting are to high. Petrol only 4x4 for us only by the look of it. :(

Laurent the pictures of the car in the snow look really christmasy. Nice.

Fiat will be selling Panda 4x4 with 1.3 Miltijet here in UK, hopefully from next year. Only reason they haven't so far is they can't build the engine fast enough and have a pre committment to Vauxhall/Opel with their CDTi.

Regards

John
