I've just bought a Panda 100hp, and being fat, old and stiff, getting in and out of the car is a pain...I need to lower the seat a wee bit. Unfortunately, the adjustments to the seat height are a joke, not really doing much at all.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction to proceed? I note some people have managed to acquire Abarth seats to exchange, but have no idea if that improves the situation or not, and besides, hen's teeth seem easier to find than said seats...

What about another seats, with height adjustment, that can be shoehorned in with maybe a slight modification? Otherwise, I may need to brush up on my limbo dancing...

Check out a top spec Fiat 500 or Abarth. The floor pan and structure are extremely similar. The seats will fit but that way you can try before you buy.

But do those seats provide the ability to lower them? Can't understand why the seats are so basic in my Panda...

My 100HP has a handle at the left side of the seat base which pumps it up or down. The seats with side bolsters etc look completely different to "standard" Panda seats.

Same as mine - but the extent of any movement up or down is minimal. Hence my search for a better seat...
