General Rear brake shoe self adjusters

Wow there expensive

I now buy them ready assembled kits with shoes, slave cylinders for around £50

I don't remember seeing those washers on the Bosch I have taken off

The adjusters are generic

Same ones used in Citroen, Suzuki , Vauxhall and so on maybe for other fitments

Maybe someone else can confirm

You can zoom in on the ones I buy there's no washer

Shop4parts doesn't appear to have them either although a little dark to see properly

Under the part number 77362613 most people don't supply a washer

For some reason most eBay suppliers do?

The washers are for the LOCKHEED brakes

Not sure where they fit as all the Pandas I have seen have been Bosch

Not got washers on my 2006.
If the originals have washers, that'll show where to place these, if not, don't fir them.

I'm intrigued by them being on Lockheed brakes. The Lockheed brakes were the early, non-ABS models, so quite rare with less than year production, but I thought the Lockheed had manual adjusters, so no need for these self-adjusters. Doesn't matter really, just don't use them unless yours already has them.

Thanks to everyone for the replies and info.
Will have to go back and strip it all down , re-assembly and see how that pans out.

I am concerned that chris3234 has them fitted

The adjusters are quite a clever minimalist design. Even the little spring that holds the adjuster is a little off square on purpose to add a little gap

Having a washer into the mechanism will effect its performance

Even though I don't know where it should go complete assembles with the adjuster and springs ready fitted have 4 pins 4 clips and 2 starlock washers separate

Perhaps it was the spring washer/clip on the threaded end I was thinking off
Hard to say as it was nearly 2 years ago and no longer have the car

Koalar, yep sorted.
Priced up the ready assembled kit against buying everthing individually, and time saved
Got the ready assembled kits
Job done.
