Hi.
Well I found my oil leak.
It's leaking from this hole but may be coming from the crappy looking tin cover thing on the other side (pic 1).
Is this a common thing? Nice easy fix to do on a driveway?
To be fair the sump sealing isn't the finest work ever so could be a comby job.

Cheers

Appears to be clutch bell housing..

So

You have around 4 seals

1 on gearbox input shaft..from clutch

Engine Crank output shaft

Potentially some plugs from engine block machining

OR..

Oil dribbling down from the Coilpack area

1st.. determine if its engine.. or gearbox oil : they are quite different

Let is know ;)

Pretty sure it's engine oil now you mention it! Not as thick as gearbox oil

That came from my cleaning of the area with brake cleaner. [emoji849]

Will try the o ring 14463980 on the ignition coil.
None on eBay in the UK!!!

Anyone know where to get one without paying a large delivery charge?
Cheers

A phone call to Shop 4 Parts should get it delivered for the cost of a first class stamp.

But I think your problem is the clutch end crank shaft seal. The only fix for that is separating the gearbox and removing the flywheel. If it gets any worse the clutch will start to slip solving any worries about what needs to be done.

Cheers everyone.

Will change the rocket gasket as that's rubbish and reuse the o ring with some hylomor.
See what happens.
Recently changed the engine and gearbox oils.

Cinq section has GUIDES .. prise out the tin baffle plate while its off.. catches lots of crud that does :(

And as soon as you refill with oil.. it tries to flush it all back to the sump
