I bought my white Panda 100hp back in July 2017 at a sprightly 54570ish miles and apart from service items it's only needed a back box, bushes for the top of the rear shocks and a thorough overhaul of the rear axle (including Superpro bushes) and apart from this I've fitted a K&N panel filter, some pipes to delete the intake resonator, a RGM rear bumper protector, a Kinetic amplified aerial and a Topnavi android head unit.
I have plans to overhaul the front suspension this year and have just had the springs and shocks delivered but now I have to order the rest of the components I'll be replacing while I've got it in bits.

Welcome to the HP club!

The panda looks awesome. Haven’t seen much white ones here in SA.

Saw this head unit online. Is it any good?

The unit only had one fitting issue which was the steering wheel buttons but that was because they'd fitted plugs on the loom but no where to plug them so they had to come off and be connected to other wires on another of their looms.
In use the only minor problem is that the DAB+ won't reconnect from the recently open apps if you go to another source but you just open the app page and just reopen the app and it works fine. The bluetooth works well, it reads music from the 2 micro sd card slots and the USB in the glove box the only thing I've not tried is the video quality.
The colour match on the plastic surround is good as is the sound quality it just takes a bit work finding the settings your happy with and although I've not tried inputting an address into the sat nav but it works smoothly and quickly even though the GPS sensor is fitted to the radio cage just under the dash.

Sounds pretty aeesome. It's a shame about the steering controls.

What about the response from the unit ie processing speed. Like when you click on an app or tap on the screen. Is it fairly quick or does it lag a little? Thank you for the info

The steering wheel controls work perfectly now and i haven't noticed any lag but it's still quite new although as it's about the same spec hardwear wise as my Samsung tab s2 with an octocore processor, 4gb of ram and 32gb of Rom it should be OK as the samsung hasn't slowed noticeably.

Over the last week or so I've changed a couple of bits on the 100HP, the list goes like this wishbones (lower arms), track rod ends, top mounts including bearing, strut protection kit, Bilstien struts and shocks, Eibach springs, 500 Abarth callipers, Rotor drilled and grooved discs (284mm front and 240mm rear), Brembo pads and to finish it all off a set of 195/50 R15 Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres and an alignment. :D:D
I still have the drop links to replace but ordered the wrong type so they had to go back and I've ordered the correct links to go on when the arrive. :D:D

Nice to see someone else doing the bigger front brake conversion!

I went with the ATE Alfa calipers and 284mm discs, not sure if there is any difference with the Abarth calipers?

Out of all of the solid colors for the 100HP got to say white is the best - the contrast between the bumper inserts and arch kit against the white really sets it off

I've not noticed a braking problem. Do the bigger brakes improve the car? Do they need larger wheels?

I wanted to give my front brakes a good overhaul soon and I stumbled on a topic which showed that the 284mm brakes fit under the standard wheels. Not that I believe they'll help out massively with braking but they fill the gap in the wheel a bit more and have allowed me to rebuild the calipers off the car.

I managed to pick up everything I needed including calipers, discs, pads, lines and a rebuild kit for just a shade under £100. A bit of time and effort later and they're now done. I believe the Abarth shares the same rear calipers/discs as the Panda?

Apologies for the topic hijack!

I've just checked - the calipers for 284mm discs were used on 156 and 147 Alfas. Could be worth doing when the discs are due for replacing.

I've never had a problem with the brakes but I know someone who had their 500 Abarth written off and it seemed to good an opportunity to miss, the callipers have a good amount of clearance (much more than I have on my Alfa anyway) and the suspension and larger sidewall tyres have improved the ride substantially although I'm not putting many miles on it at the moment. :D

I have just taken a punt on some Alfa 147 brakes. They arrived needing overhaul but for £30 delivered I'm not arguing.

Good news they included a pair of near enough new 284mm discs and pads.
Bad news they have the 5 x 98 bolt pattern. Maybe someone can offer them a warm home.

No use on the 16v 155, but mines got Coupe 20v turbo discs and 3 litre 166 callipers up front anyway. :D
