How easy will it be to change a front door (the driver's side) on my 2007 1.2? I have manual unheated mirrors and electric windows.
Backstory - I have an interesting collection of 3-4 small dents on it and am thinking it might be cheaper to get a door from a breaker than have them repaired. Some have touchup paint on already from a previous owner. I can spray with cans quite well but my filler skills leave a lot to be desired (read: rubbish)!
I have experience swapping a door on a 1991 Mazda MX5 - similarly has manual mirrors and electric windows - like the Panda the switches are in the centre console. This was very simple - 4 bolts on the chassis side and a pin to knock out, then swap the locks - that was the hardest bit, but not too bad.
Has anyone done a door swap, know of any pitfalls etc?
Apologies if this has been covered already - a search of the forum and guides turned up nothing.
