Posts: 3 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0  | Panda key booster!!! Hi all, I have an option to buy a fiat Panda. The seller says it needs a key booster. What is it? Where do I find it? Is it a cheap fix? Apparently the car is currently being used Regards Red

Thing I can think of is that the aerial is struggling to read the key chip.. So the immobiliser gets in the way. Again..ask her the context. Its a weird phrase.. So interpretation could be the key.

Posts: 14,602 Thanks: 706 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Panda key booster!!! She probably meant the immobiliser ring antenna. It is plastic ring that fits around the ignition switch. Used parts cost about £20. New - probably about double. They do fail over time and are easy enough to fit with some fiddling about to remove plastic covers around the steering column.
