Impossible to say. Run some tests and see what you find. Error codes might help but it could be within normal range resulting in no errors.

ill run it in the morning... No error codes, checked after top end rebuild. If I had my way I'd definitely switch out the flyby for traditional cable/linkage. P.s. Sport button changes rpm response but the moment the clutch goes in the rpm isn't sticky but it doesn't drop instantly like the other hp

Sorry missed that. No airleaks anywhere?

gr J

when I did the top end, the only possible areas that could be perished was the brake booster and the valve under the intake. It has brand new hoses and they are solid tight. The manifold gasket have been changed out and bolts torqued to spec. Ill spray some carb cleaner whilst running the engine and monitor for a rpm chnage.

So no air leaks, no error codes and throttle position matches voltage. Ie target voltage and measured voltage both with multimeter and diag. Cannot be timing as I'm 100% sure it was done correctly with the special tools... It pretty much leaves me with ecu. Is there a relearn or reset function for the ecu regarding throttle. Ps. The battery was disconnected during the entire rebuild, I would presume that disconnecting the battery for some time initiates relearning auto adaptives etc

So just an update, managed to source a parcel tray, sun visor and clip, gear shifter spring and air vent from a donor panda. The new tyres are awesome and all aligned she drives great. I wanted to go with semi slicks as with previous projects but I wanted to use the car more than just a weekend toy so required something a bit more durable. Ps the mags aren't buckled at all, they just weren't balanced properly. Next step is coil overs, the left rear coil spring collapsed so leaning a bit to the left.

It might be the axle (dont know if you have the corrosion issues we have in UK).
It could also be the spring position in the pan. The open end of the spring should be towards the back and the same each side. The rear springs are too hard for most normal roads causing the back end to skip. I used 500 springs. They ride slightly lower, dont skip so handling improves but there is slighty more body roll. Use these bump stops https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Shock...:Coupe&hash=item5d7540e930:g:s40AAOSwpiNZr~QJ

Thank you so much for the info Dave.

Okay so I have decided. As of tomorrow, I'm parking the little critter and going full fledged into the conversion and extras.

I was looking at the Mito today and its scary how identical the motors are. I should have the car in 2 weeks according to the supplier. So I'm fitting the motor, gearbox, body and engine ecu. I will also be doing a decat and stainless steel system with vbands and 2 x 330mm stainless free flow boxes, coil overs all around, I'm fitting semi slicks, ill also be looking into some lsd options, front mounted slim line intercooler, I'm going to fit the Mito wheels and brakes all around, headlights will be imported whilst I'm in the states, going with projectors and aftermarket fogs, I'm going to fit Ricardo seats upfront and some propped harnesses, I'm also going to replace all airbags and ecu.

There's no point in driving fixing driving... Do it once, do it properly.

I will post as I go along.

Stupid auto correct, I have to go back two three times after typing it on the phone to fix typos lol.

Recaro yes and also not propped harnesses, it's suppose to say proper.

Unless its an easy chip replacement to get the Panda instruments to work, I would fit the Mito instruments. It looks like the pod is removable so it would not be hugely difficult to make a new pod or modify the Mito pod.

The 500 back axle will fit the 169 Panda but the wider track wont allow 100HP wheels under the body. Check out the Mito back axle e.g. how similar is it to the Panda/500/Ka. Looking on eBay there are strong similarities but obviously that's not evidence it will fit. It seems to have an anti roll bar, that allows softer springs for better compliance over rough roads. The 500 has 30% softer springs than an ordinary 169 Panda.

The axle looks to have the flared out wider stub axle brackets (as used on 500) so they would need jigging cutting and welding to create the 100HP axle width.

So just an update:

Whilst the car is waiting for the ordered parts, I have done a cut on the paint job, followed by a polish, wax and buff. It looks really awesome and the color really pops!

The new interior carpets arrived as well as the clutch slave cylinder, LED Park Lights, HID Xenon Kit and Angel Eyes Fog Lights with LED Projector style main beam.

Waiting on the Mito to take the motor, gearbox and brakes, KW V1 Coilovers, Mags to be reconditioned(Also thinking of popping the QV Mito wheels onto the Panda as it is 4x98) and Roof Racks

I'll be painting the Front Bumper, Right Front Fender and Boot Spoiler in next week, just need to spend some time sanding them to prep.

The GT25 Garrett, SMART Dumpvalve, Intercooler & Oil Coiler should also arrive in next week.

I have the exhaust goodies, 57mm Stainless Steel 330mm center round box (Free Flow), 330mm oval rear box (Center/Off Center) Free Flow, SS Flex. I just need to tig weld it all up. Will also be doing a decat, just need to figure out how I'm going about the exhaust manifold.

Will keep posted

HID's and spotlights fitted. Here's a few pics of the results. Let me know what you think?

Thanks A3jeroen

I bought supergrip plain carpets, they stick very well and I had a guy in town do some embroidery. You can't really see the laurel leaves around the fiat logo in the photo but came out pretty detailed. Got the inspiration from an import shop but the quality on those carpets were not all that good.

Silverbulbs?

I would still suggest you fit a standard Panda front bumper. Painted carefully, with the centre area in black, 100HP spats and front splitter it would look very close to the 100HP look. I suggest it because the 100HP bumpers are getting rare and they really are quite fragile.

You could also experiment with narrow beam spot lamps at either side of the top grille. No worries if you mess it up because they are "ten-a-penny". Narrow beam lamps are really handy when wired with main beam as they put light down the road without adding foreground glare.

Thought I’d snap a pic of the two 100hp’s together.

I also fitted Abarth badges in front, the rear and the wheels.

Will snap some more pics when parts start rolling in. Most of the parts are still saying: shipped and some are still at customs awaiting clearance.

So quick update...

I'm going to twin charge the little 1.4 turbo from the Mito. Why you might ask? Just watch turbos and temples 2 of mighty car mods and listen how awesome the little nissan march super turbo sounds and getting a nice low end gain but its more geared towards the sound. Supercharger will be either of a 4agze sc12 or sc14 or from the golf 7.

Oil filter and cooler will be relocated, ill be using the stock panda black water pipe and relocating turbo water return and also relocating turbo drain.

Massive fabrication but I'm so keen to get started!!!

Also want to add the 4wd drivetrain but I doubt it will be able to withstand the power
