We have interesting fault on the remote key fob.

It locks the car just fine and starts the car in the normal way, but it WON'T UNLOCK on the remote. I'm guessing the unlock switch has failed.

Does anyone know if this means a new circuit board inside or can I just swap the contents to a new key fob case?

If it’s like mine it’ll be a crack in one of the solder points that connect the clicker to the board. If you’re ok with an iron it’s an easy fix.
