last night Both the air bag warning lights ( amber and red) came on which was kind of worrying!
Im sure its the passenger side? as when I turn it off the red light on the dash goes out but the yellow light is constant which is what its meant to do when switched off.
Later I went back to the car and all lights were off! with the airbag key switch in both settings so im hoping it stays that way but if you've owned a panda long enough its like a waiting game to see what light will go off next. :bang:
On saying that she's been very reliable since I spent out to have her fixed 2 years ago with another electrical issue.

OK Question: Ive seen other threads commenting on the actual switch being at fault with intermittent failure OR could it be that the airbag its self is coming to its end of life?

multiecuscan full version and correct cable will read the error code and would take the guesswork out.

My passenger airbag switch failed.

I took one out of a Punto, changed the barrel over so the original key still works and popped it back in.

really was a 5 minute job. Just pops out. No need to remove any screws.

Well as predicted, the air bag light has not come back.
I called my Panda Marmite for a very good reason!!
You either love her or hate her, we have that type of relationship LOL
Ive discovered a little issue with the air vent intake/drain collector ( not sure the proper name for it) The rubber drain bung is missing so any water runs straight out and we had recently a very very heavy down pour which would have filled it right up but as the waters going straight out its not going through a protruding rubber bung but sloshing out covering the cloth type sound proofing on the bulk head which im thinking may of made it to the wiring of the key switch for the air bag ? Since ive had the bonnet up in the sun/wind this morning , all's been fine, coincidence? I hope so but time will tell
