Dez my 2005 Multijet went for his last MoT with me yesterday. For those who aren’t aware, in Northern Ireland we have Government MoT stations as opposed to garages who do MoT. Your car must be ready for the test. I drove in winding down the window to be asked, ‘Is that a diesel?’ I confirmed and told him the mileage. He had that look of disbelief when I said 152,007. He gets me to pull the bonnet lever to look in the engine bay and then open the boot to look at the VIN plate, saying that my car was one of the few who had the plate in there, but he added that he expected I knew all about that anyway. So he then gets me to turn on the lights for checking and then I move over to the passenger side for the brake tests. You could tell he was impressed by the wee beastie. I sat out to the side while he was put up on the ramp to check the underside, suspension, wheels, etc. When he brought him down again, he told me that the car was a quare well looked after car and he expected it could go for another 150K miles! No advisories ever! I felt proud, but also sad that as I haven’t been able to find suitable storage for him, I’m going to have to sell him now that I’ve got his replacement…

You'll miss him!
You know you will:D

At least show us the pictures of your Mito once you've got it please.

Same colour as my Abarth.

I think Dez should be preserved as "Type Specimen" for all Fiat Pandas.

Well he certainly is a well specified Panda. He has Skydome, side rubbing strips, front foglights, sliding rear seat with upgraded headrests all round, side and window airbags, custom-made seat covers, some storage nets, iPod dock in the glovebox and Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth phone installed. I also have two sets of alloys both with almost new tyres, new mats, custom sunblinds, another set of original wheel trims, a spare rear wiper and there's a set of mudflaps somewhere too! I've probably missed some stuff in that list...

I really would love to keep him but I simply can't find storage. Being honest, I'm having trouble in bringing myself to put him up for sale.

Lovely blue colour!
My son has a Mito 1.4Tjet in "whitegold" and one of his best friends a1.3 Mjet in a brown metallic and interior in saddlebrown.

Enjoy!

Mine has black leather interior with heated seats for luxury and a sunroof. :)

And he's gone!
