I think the whole seat can be swapped left/right though on some models, the driver's has a height adjustment. The seat backs might technically swap between (say) a 500 and a Panda but the trims and padding will look wrong
I swapped the seat base cushions and seat backs quite easily. Made a big difference for me as the driver's seat was in a terrible state.
Main thing that I remember being a pain was that the metal rod that runs through the seat back needed to be hammered through to accommodate the seat recline wheel being on the other side. These rods are held in place by grippy washers (can't remember their proper name!) Which needed to be manipulated to allow the rod to move through the seat.

I’m very interested in this.
Is it straightforward? The posts after you about hammering bars through makes it sound like a chew on.

If you have the patience to take them out and strip them down the cushions are interchangeable from side to side. Its quite a faff to extract them though. I did mine some time back.

The metal frames are not deburred so watch out for some very sharp edges.
Has anyone tried fitting seats from other models (I mean not Panda)? Will Punto or Alfa Mito seats fit?
