I touched on this in another post, but I am looking for a bit of clarity... I think the earlier wing mirrors suit the shape of the car far better than my late model bulbous ones.
Can anyone confirm if they are a straight swap, the plugs look the same from the images I can see on the likes of eBay, as does the trim panel that butts up to the door. Can anyone confirm if this is correct and I can swap them out please?

I thought all 100hp mirrors were the smaller ones? People seem to love the larger mirrors, but I agree, they look odd. I've never had any visibility issues with the smaller mirrors myself.

I'm not sure of the fitment is the same. Physically there will be no issue. It would only be the wiring plugs if anything.

I believe this has been asked before - the old and new types should be a straight swap.

The Eleganza also had electric mirrors, but front (back?) covers are black. They can be painted with the correct pretreatments and primers.

All we need now is a better place for the "nearly unusable on the move" switch panel.
