Technical Needed : rear brake disc/dust/heat shields (protection)

I'm looking for some rear brake shields for a panda 100hp, although I think the 4x4 shares the same part.

Anyone able to help?

The dealer quoted me £40 per shield!! It's only a bit of tin!

Cant find any suppliers online.

Just a thought - will the fronts off a 11/1200 fit?

But the brakes work fine without them.

Couldn't you get them blasted and powder coated for a few quid?

One is salvageable. The other fell apart having rusted through!

Were the 100hp and 4x4 the only 169 pandas with rear discs?

Wonder if any other models share the same part...

The HGT Punto Mk2 used the same brake discs and the later model (Grande) Puntos and the 500s share many parts. So its likely they all share the same brakes.

TBH I would just run it without the covers. Do they do anything useful?

Grande Punto parts are normally cheap at the breakers. Doubt all models will have the same size brakes but I could be miles out.


I have used a starter motor from the Grande Punto so some of the parts are shared

It's only a guess based on Fiat's modular way of working. Very similar parts (often the same parts numbers) appear on many models.

e.g. Check out how often the same solid brake discs appear.
