The Panda is drinking a lot of oil especially on motorway trips.

I currently use Mobil Super 2000 - 10w40 Semi Synthetic.

How much is drinking

Any smoke


Any damp patches around the engine or underneath

You need to find the cause, and rectify it.

How do you generally drive the car?

My girlfriends 100hp used to drink a bit of oil (nothing alarming though) and after a good few miles of driving it like an Italian car should be driven, it has sorted itself out. It barely uses any between oil changes.

As mentioned, check for leaks. May be worth a compression test. If it is been driven softly then it could just be sticky rings letting oil past and a few months of hard driving may be the answer.
