In a word yes. Take the heatshield off if you have on then unbolt the manifold from the head. Ease it off the studs once you've removed the gearbox to exhaust bracket. Move the whole lot to the near side. You should have enough room to remove the sump. They are really well stuck on with silicone and take some getting off. Have fun!

And take care to drop the sump straight down,don't twist it. It is easy to damage the oil pickup pipe apparently.

Don't forget to drain the oil first, or you'll be bathing in it.

En una palabra sí. Retire el escudo térmico si lo tiene puesto y luego desatornille el colector de la cabeza. Quítelo de los espárragos una vez que haya quitado la caja de cambios al soporte de escape. Mueva todo el lote al lado cercano. Debe tener suficiente espacio para quitar el sumidero. Están muy bien pegados con silicona y se quitan un poco. ¡Divertirse!

I watched a garage change a Punto sumps which is a similar setup

They also dropped the exhaust to make the job easier.

Unbolt the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head and disconnect the exhaust pipe at the flexible joint. It's not worth trying to short-cut the job.
