The thing is backwards!
Fitted a new £8 eBay-job pump to my Panda today. Obviously in the process all the washer fluid from the tank gets dumped on the floor (and you and all your tools), so when the new pump went in there was barely enough to spray. I'm so glad I didn't accept the whirry noise as a working pump, as I poured in a 1L bottle of water and pulled the washer stalk to realise the tubes were on the wrong nozzles. D'oh!
All sorted now, and for anyone interested the washer pump is easily accessible behind the RHS wheel arch liner. 3 phillips screws and a 10mm nut is all you need!
