Just picked up an '06 Multijet Dynamic with 51.5k miles to be my son's first car in a couple of months time.

Very happy apart from no A/C (hadn't realised), no roof rails or rear headrests. Judging by the air filter it's a pre-Euro5 unit without DPF (v. happy).

Already learnt lots of useful stuff here, I plan to self maintain. Ordered the £2 Ebay cable to hopefully connect phone/USB to the Blaupunkt.

Any suggestions where I can pick up, at sensible prices, the rails & headrests?

Thanks

Apart from ebay, worth checking your local scrapyard, sorry, vehicle dismantler. :) A few Pandas will be getting written off by rear beam rust etc now, or damage unecomic to repair.

If doing your own maintenance get a copy of Multiecuscan http://www.multiecuscan.net/ and a USB ELM 327 interface. Try to get a interface "modified for multiecuscan (ebay/Amazon) should be less than £20 While I highly recommend paying the 50 euro registration fee for MES, you can do a lot on your panda with the unregistered (free) download.

Roof rails are an option extra. If you fit them you will have to inform your insurance company. I doubt there will be cost. Rare second hand. They do turn up on eBay.

Rear headrests are in my opinion a must. Save a damaged neck in a rear end shunt. Scrap yard, breaker or eBay is the way to go. Large breakers these days probably will not let you have them as they sell everything as a complet set. Small family breaker would be better. Finding them in the correct colour might be tricky.

Might be worth trying some from other fiat models. Could change them all so they at least match or use seat covers.
