Re: coolent flush

I think 2 litres will be fine.
It needs to be mixed 50/50 with water. Tap water is ok, distilled or deionised water is better.
Mix it before putting it into the car. That will guarantee the mixture proportions. Putting water and coolant in separately and expecting them to mix is a bit random. It will take time to mix thoroughly, and may give the wrong concentration.
Less coolant reduced its effectiveness at corrosion inhibition, and reduces its anti-freeze properties. Too much actually reduces its effectiveness too.
Get a pot of some sort. Big plastic measuring jug, (Cheap but often don't pour well, so get a funnel too) or similar, or an empty 5l pot, (clean inside) and mix the water and coolant 50/50. Then pour into the car.

been covered on here many a time..

https://www.fiatforum.com/panda/3551...or-liquid.html

biggest issue is getting the hose off the bottom radiator outlet..

on my 1.1 I CAREFULLY slit the clip off.. , and replaced with a conventional "worm-drive clip"
like a Terry / Jubilee.

it's supposedly possible to remove the "bayonet hose fitting" but on a 10 year old car I would worry about brittle plastic parts failing

The bayonet fitting seems like a good idea, but creates an unnecessary struggle. Probably quick and easy for the production line.

I found the only way to properly grip and squeeze the bayonet release, was from under the car. Then you drown as it comes off. Genius.
As Charlie says, if the 'O' ring seal is damaged, a new hose is the factory answer. Careful measurement of the 'O' ring might be able to source one off the internet, but that creates a big delay.
