Driving other half's Panda today and my feet were cold.

Plenty of heat in the rest of the car, temp gauge was half way, so I don't think there's a thermostat issue.

With blower on full, heat on full, didn't appear to be getting anything much on driver's (LHD) feet, though I could see a plastic bag fluttering a bit in passenger footwell.

Blower on windscreen worked fine, upper vents ok, feet nothing much.

Setting to feet & upper gave nothing at all, sounded blocked.

Ideas?

She's normally the one to complain of cold feet, so I'm surprised.

Same journey in Alfa or Uno and my feet would be lovely and toasty after 45 minutes.

Car is a basic spec 1.2, 2004, no air con or other fancy stuff.

Thanks, I'll have a play with the different setting at lunch, then it looks like I might have found my job fo the weekend.

Can already hear the cries of "noooo, don't take my car apart".

Ok, checked it, there is some air blowing to the driver's feet, just not as much as passenger side.

Thinking there might be something partially blocking it, probably a leaf.

Will have a more detailed look sometime.

Thanks :)

Time to invest in the cheap ebay borescope.

I'll pass that on to Mrs eBay, though I do recall threats being made about what would happen were I to purchase any more gadgets...

She has remarked that her feet were much warmer this morning driving the Uno.

When "her" car plays up, I tell her to either book it in to the dealer or if I can find my hammer, I'll look at it.

Not had to touch her car, ever!

Funnily enough, when something's not right, it becomes "my" car...
