All the threads I have found make removal of the rear bench sound very simple, but having removed the bolts in the boot floor and those at the front of the rear bench it still seems to be fixed around the metal pivot part that the back rests thread through.

This is a 2010 car with Isofix points - does anyone have experience please?

To answer my own question and for anyone else with the same bench - it's the two bolts in the passenger foot wells and one through the upright metal pivot point that the back rests lock through
