General alloy wheels

Hi, been given some alloy wheels with 195/50r/15 tyre,s on.Lad said they came off old Nova, stud hole,s look same size.Have no idea about wheel sizes in general. I own a panda dynamic 1.2 hatch back 2007.Anyone shed any info please much appreciated..

Nova will be 100 pcd, where the Panda is 98. Won't fit right.

They won't fit without considerable effort.

The rolling diameter is almost identical but just about everything else is wrong for your car; offset, PCD & centre bore are all different. You'd need to machine the wheels to enlarge the centre bore, probably find offset spacers, and use wobble bolts to correct for the PCD difference. If you get any of this wrong, the wheel won't run true, even if you manage to physically secure it to the axle.

Even if they could be made to fit, I still wouldn't use them on a 1.2 Panda; ride, performance and economy will all be noticeably worse on 195/50x15 tyres. Plus you'd need to notify your insurance company and likely pay an increased premium (or risk invalidating your insurance).

The best thing you can do with them is to put them on your favourite auction site and use the money for something nice. Then keep thinking about all the extra money you'll save by running on standard wheels & tyres.
