Just finally got a 100hp and due to MOT pick ups of corroded springs and shocks I want to take the opertunity to upgrade.
I seem to be struggling to get exact part numbers.
Should I get Eibach springs or spax and if so which is the right ones to get? A lot of them say not for 100hp.
I am also going to replace the shocks with the Koni STR.T's but once again I can't seem to confirm exact product numbers.
I am also going to get fiat coupe bump stops to stop any bottoming out.

Are there any other worth while upgrade on the suspension? Poly bushes? Strut braces etc?

Thanks

Joe

Personally I normally find the original equipment a good compromise between ride, braking and cornering.

Always like the ride in a Mitsubishi I had. Body roll was controlled by large anti roll bars but the springs and struts were fairly soft which was great on our pothole roads. However it is a much heavier car so is always going to ride better.

People fit lowered suspension with the excuse it handles better. It's almost exclusively too hard so the car ends up skipping between bumps.

Go for the 100HP normal ride height and choose springs no harder than standard. Tweak the damping to your taste but its likely to be better on the soft side.

OK this is on Hi-Los but really!!!

Even more tragically it's a diesel. Go to 2:10 to see how well it drives.
