Yes its really that easy and shouldn't take more than 20 mins to do both. A bolt at the top and one at the bottom.
Seems I also will need a spacer tube as a lot of the guys who fitted these shocks found them loose at top bush.
Thanks for the heads up. I was hoping to be able to jack it from the back rather than side points. So there is no rear jacking point I gather?A spacer won't do any harm but it's not needed as the joint doesn't move once tightened.
It's best to do the final tightening of the top & bottom bolts with the back axle in its usual position otherwise the shock's bushes will be permanently twisted and may not last as long. The bottom bolt can just about be tightened with the wheels on the ground but the top is trickier - personally I jack the axle up.
