Finally got round to fitting the strut brace today

Shocks had to come out as they were half blocking the rear bolt hole
and also i'm fitting my coil overs this week so it's gonna be lowerered and a rock solid ride. :cool:
....and yes i have a dirty engine bay :rolleyes:

But while refitting the shocks i noticed something nasty!!!!
Look at the tip of the screw driver

after i cleared out the dirt and stones...you can see how far down my finger goes

this is how much crap i removed with just my fingers from these dirt trap areas behind the shocks :devil:
The inner wheel arch areas will be cleaned out with water soon :cool:

it's hard to tell from the pics but it's a lot lower and stiffer :eek: and it was only lowered off the axle stands so not had a chance to settle
then it was an embarrasing drive thru Leicester to the garage that sorted the tracking, camber etc etc
Ive just got to get a camber bolt kit now to bring the top of the front wheels/tyres in some more

multi coloured screen, i have it orange...it matches the panda dash lights :cool:

I'm building a big wall round the front drive soon with iron railings and machine gun turrets...ooopps getting carried away there :p
 
My silver 1.1 active Panda is up for sale now £100ono spares or repair

:confused: No MOT also on SORN
:mad: steering rack on it's way out
:mad: tracking needs sorting as i had the coil-overs on this (now on 100HP)
:mad: N/S rear bump stop mount rotted
:mad: no back box, but have the 100HP's back box still but thats about rotted through
:mad: no air filter now as it's a K&N filter
(n) will be gone very soon if no-one is intrested as i will scrap it (n)
;) Blue seats....not pleasant

If you fancy letting me buy the passenger wing panel let me know .. my replacement one looks so obvious as it's brighter than the rest of the car.

Where roughly are you located?

Can you cut some stiff foam to fit the space and slather the area in Waxoyl so it doesn't trap water and cause corrosion?

Im thinking the tough packing material but not polystyrene (too weak) or latex (absorbs water).

:idea: i was also thinking of something i could use to block this area off, very bad design, wot was Fiat thinking :rolleyes:
it has two bung holes on either side if you pop them out it doesnt even go to that section
My silver Panda is the same full to the top of road grit,
 
Vacuum the crud away and slather the area with waxoyl. If you fit a foam lid make sure it fits right to the bottom and slater that in waxoyl. Corrosion wont be far behind, if you end up with water trapped under the foam.

I need somebody way smarter then me to give me a hand please !
I have the old radio on my little panda
With this diagram on it
I bought a new stereo and tge diagram is this
It has a different connection then what i have in the panda
I know the first 8 wires are from the speakers ... but the other 4 i have no ideea how to wire it up
This are the wires from the panda
The black one are the speakers
The white one i.m guesing is the power
The blue,green, yellow, no idee if i have to do something with them
Can somebody please explain step by stept how to connect the wires from the old to the new
I would really appreciate

Black - yellow/blue - red/black

Yellow/blue - pink/white - pink/black

Dunno m8, i went from 100HP stereo to Sony Double din
i used this to start off with, this let's you add an after market stereo

then bought this adapter after
this allowed me to use some of the steering wheel controls

i have no idea what colour wire does what in the panda loom sorry m8
:cool: i have my double din 100HP blu-tooth stereo for sale if any one wants it :cool:
 
What is the name of that adapter ?!
What will i search for ... that looks very easy

Ps: after i plugged the battery back on now my computer dash keeps flashing ?!
Did i blow a fuse or something ?

Manage to do it wire by wire
The dash was a fuse ... changed it
My problem now is that the radio does not save memory settings and i would like to make the radio work without putting the ignition on
The saving memory .... i saw on youtube that reversing the red wire with yellow solve the problem
Playing without ignition ... i still have to search
Unless somebody has a ideea :)

yes red and yellow wires need switching
one is always live...memory of radio needs to be connected to that (y)
