Pls help i have the clibing 4×4 2007 with the viscous coupling . Lately i notic that the rear wheels not lock when the front slipping..i wonted to now what can i do with it to have my panda working normaly again ..must be the vc not do the job anymore...the panda have 100.000 km

These are the instructions to remove and refit the viscous coupling, this could be your best bet as you may be able to spot any obvious breaks / faults / wearing on the related parts.

I am assuming you have the 1.2 Petrol 4x4, let me know if this is incorrect and I will supply you with the correct instructions

This seem so easy that I should try it, I've been wondering about where this coupling was actually located..

First of all thanks everyone for your cooperation .. didnt know that the black circle with the big bolt in the middle is the vc . I thought that the VC its insaid the difrential..
So if I understand correctly I need to replace it with a new one..So there is no need to open the differential .. replace the black circle connecting the propshaft to the Differential ?

The viscous coupling will be costly to replace so make really sure it has failed. In normal driving 90% of the power goes to the front wheels.

I'm almost sure it did not work as before. Because I was not able to do things I did with the car before ... The question is whether it is possible to replace the vc without replacing all the differential ...?
Thanks in advance to everyone

Hardy Spicers can be replaced even the staked type but you need a jig to maintain alignment. Sadly the days of circlips to hold the bearing caps are long gone.

Failing that, it sounds like the only options are spare parts from a breakers.
