Looking at the parts listing it appears that the base and the foam are the same both sides. The upper part is handed, so you would need to swap the top of the seat over.

Yep - the same each side.
From memory, a Torx 10 will do it (or it might be a normal 10mm bolt head). Only two bolts under the front of the squab, but VERY tight.

Rebooting this thread (to show I did do a search ;O) – will 08/09 Panda 100HP front seats fit an 05 4x4 Panda easily? A straight swap out? Thanks.
Yes, got the 100HP seats in the classifieds but the seats in my 4x4 are a little battered and if they share the same mounts I might just move them across (and cancel my advert)

I would expect them to use the same mountings. Whilst suspension mountings will be different to accommodate the 4x4, I doubt Fiat would re-engineer anything that they didn't have to.
Give it a go. Worst case scenario, you waste an hour.
Let us all know the outcome.
The rear seats will probably swap too, make a matching set. The rear split seat is a bit of a challenge, as lifting it out with the hinge in the middle is a struggle as it fights. Easier with help.

The rear seats in the 4x4 are the sliding forward, split seats things. Not rushing to touch them. And the 4x4 front (drivers certainly) has a lever that 'jacks the seat up' – I'm going to get a tape measure and see if the 100HP and 4x4 are the same (seat) height. Then ponder the hour to try one out. Thanks.

Pull your seats out of the car (four screws). The left front has a tag that locates into a hole in the floor so be sure to guide that out. Then you can work out what can be swapped over.
