Hi folks,

I have the Blaupunkt MP3 CD Headunit (shows AUX option when pushing 'CD'). I'm trying to get a cable to hook up my iPhone to the stereo in a way that allows me to use the stereo/steering wheel controls to skip tracks, rather than going for the simple option of 3.5mm AUX cable.

So I've now been through 3 different brands (Xcarlink, GROM and today Dension). The Dension Gateway Lite is the most successful of the three, but I have the same issues I had with the GROM.

It all works, only sometimes the CD Changer source randomly disappears from the stereo (ie I just get AUX and CD when pushing the CD button).

Is there any way to force the head unit to look for the CDC source? Is this something that others have encountered either with an iPod adapter or the regular CD changer? I'm beginning to think there's a fault with my headunit...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry if it's been asked before, I did search around but didn't find anything.

Hello, just bought a GROM and I have the same problem. It works 1 out of 10 times and only with the car turned off. When I press cd it only recognizes the aux port and not the cd changer. Have you managed to discover the problem? Thanks!
