I'm still in the dark about whether or not the petrol versions actually have replaceable fuel filters.

My bike has the same type of in-tank fuel pump as used in most petrol cars. It's complete with big metal ring to remove the pump access cover. The filter is built into the that access cover with pump motor hanging below. To date I've had three pumps all working happily with the original filter.

Well I don't know what's going on here, this site shows a fuel filter on any petrol engine version I choose,...but the picture suggests that it's somewhere in the engine bay.

That diagram is for the later Panda 312. This is the Panda 169 section.

As has already been said, there is no routinely replaceable fuel filter on the petrol panda 169.

The car is a 2013 model, it's shape is just like what's shown in the diagram so shouldn't there be a fuel filter in the engine bay??

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section, I've no idea about 312 or 169 sections? All I know is that it's the current shape, so 2012 on wards basically.

Re: fuel filter

Fiat and Opel, share engine design (Fiat-GM Powertrain in Torino)
For a long time I was convinced of the absence of a fuel filter in my wife's Corsa, until:

You just have to look in the right place, and see if it is there.

Re: fuel filter

If it was me looking, I would just follow the fuel pipe from engine to tank, if you find a filter wonderful, if not then there isn't one.
as far as I know the 169 Panda doesn't have a fuel filter, I don't know about the post 2012 (312) Panda though......
