Have you tried filling that area and all the cavities with waxoyl?
It's the area where the rust inhabits, we can't get into it as it seems to be a box like area , with gaps at the corner but not anywhere to even properly observe.
Honestly we don't have the expertise :-/
I'd say, it's not only the brand, but the amount of it that you use...
You should really soak the object that you are protecting...it's a real messy job...best done when ouitside temps are high...so the product will "creep" everywhere...
Even if I drill a hole, it'll just get in and soak one area. There's no way I've discovered that will give the all around spray i need :-(
It was spraying waxoyl in cavities that were damp and/or already had rust forming that caused so many problems.
