I am trying to fit a power socket to panda 1100. There is a plug under the handbrake console, i fitted a relay and fuse in appropriate slots in main box under bonnet, no power.

Have now u nloosed the fuse 'box' under bonnet and spoted there is no lead going to fuse 85 or to relay 31

Shouild there be leads somewhere waiting to be connected ?

It's common on the Active models to have the wiring, but not the socket it's self and some find the loom doesn't seem to connect to anything, power wise, some other do!

I think they fitted a standard wiring loom, but the fuse boxes were different between models.

Unless you can find the end of the lead and connect it up to another switched live fuse within the box, you'd probably find it easier to run another wire to it.
Use a fuse tap on another switched live fuse. (see handbook for which to tap)

I think the earth should be ok at the connector, but it's worth testing it.
