Hello everyone,

I was hoping there might be some kind sole out there who could scan in the Tech Specs and Features and Options pages from the 2004 New Panda brochure.

We are planning to buy a pre reg Dynamic from September 2004 and wanted to see if there were any significant changes from the current spec.

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Just checked my paperwork, and I have both the 2004 and a sort of supplement called " New Panda - Technical Specifications, Standard Features and Options, Body Colours and Interior Trim, Services and Fiat Accessories"

It say's it's edition 02/04 - is that any good for you?

Having a Sept 2004 Dynamic, I can tell you that they didn't come with a CD player, remote boot unlock and wireless central locking - which they do now. I think that's about the only differences.

Thanks Creamola,

If those are the only differences then I don't really need to see the brochure.

We spent a lot of time haggling with the dealer, but we haven't seen the car yet and just wanted to know which specs to watch out for.

That's been a big help!(y) (y) (y)

Yes, but lack of a remote boot unlock is a real pisser. If you stop and need to get something out, you have to switch off engine, remove key from ignition and go round the back and stick it in the lock for the boot.

Similarly, a lack of a wireless central locking is also an irritant, because the only lock for the doors is on the drivers side - so, if the car is locked - the only way in is by sticking a key in the drivers side door.

If you have a number of small kids, this becomes an issue.

On a related note, I had a summer 2005 Dynamic as a courtesy car about a month ago. It could just be me, but it seemed a lot quieter and more taught than mine. When new, my Dynamic was surprisingly quiet, but it does seem to have got more noisey (engine only) as the months have rolled on. I also still get machine gun noises from the exhaust when I drive through large puddles - so make sure you test drive through a puddle, or better still, during a downpour!

PS. These guys http://www.fiatsupasaver.com/panda.htm are currently doing brand new Dynamics for £5695.
