Hi,
Does anyone please have a list of exactly where all the earthing ground points are on a 2003-2012 RHD Panda as the eLearn Manual Sketches are very vague and only pertain to LHD Cars. The ones that I am interested in are the internal ones as the engine bay points are mostly visible.

Best I could do is look on eLearn too, but you say it's not clear enough?

Someone on here is bound to be able to describe in detail from experience, what is the nature of the problem so that they can assist in explaining the nearest / most suitable grounding point for you?

- thanks

Bump!

After finding several extra earthing wires for the rear lights in both sides and burned connectors :bang:, I are planning a minor wire-job in the comming spring.
So should anyone have pictures or sketches, I would be very greatful (y)

BTW: Is it true that the original wire are so thin?

After problems with rear lights/wiper and power steering, I ran a couple of extra earth leads which cured the problems.

Rear Lights on disco setting / rear wiper footbrake operated :
Cured: original earth leads are well inboard and required removal of wheel arch carpets to reach. Easy option - tap in to earth lead on rear lamps and run a new lead to a screw hole drilled in tailgate aperature.

Power steering: Spurious problem with loss of assistance (new battery already).
Cured: Original body earth checked and cleaned below battery tray but no difference :(
New lead -£4 Halfords- run from battery earth to n/s wing mounting bolt - problem disappeared. (No probs last 9 months)

You cant have too many earth points. :)

Run a heavy gauge from engine block to chassis.

Drill the rear light "chassis" to take self tapping screws and run earth wires from each side to self tappers screwed into the body shell. Resistance from each bulb housing to chassis should be near enough zero ohms. Ideally scrape away the paint under the ring tags using copper grease to protect the bare metal.
