So my Fuel Pump gets here on Tuesday (we'll see about that).

I ordered the whole Bosch Premium unit (includes the pump and all other components such as the float etc) and as far as I'm aware it lifts in and out, but having taken a look at the official DIY fitting instructions I noticed it says the following:

Fuel Filter Screen MUST Be replaced to maintain warranty.

There's also a mention of replacing the fuel filter itself (can't find it?).

My question being is this filter screen and fuel filter inside this big Pump module I ordered?

Anyone else can you share your experiences of fitting / dealing with Panda fuel pumps?

On petrol Pandas it's built into the pump and lift unit, which it sounds like you've just ordered

Hoping we can fit it ourselves. Was going to take it to Fiat, but my uncle says we can fit it in his garage.

Do the electronic clips and fuel lines come off easily enough? Same with the hatch under the seat?

If it arrives on Tuesday then I'd like to fit it that night and be on my way for a nice New Year road trip!

Should be able to fit with the tank in place from within the car, can't remember about releasing the pipes, but from memory there were no major dramas, certainly a DIY job for anyone who doesn't mind getting their hands slightly dirty
