All,

Hope someone can tell me how to change my pollen filter. Apologies as I have found many threads on this but still have not progressed.

Is there a pollen filter on cars without air conditioning?

I have found the filter housing in the driver side footwell (see image), as other posts suggested. However, there I have read that I need to unclip the cover, but have no idea where the clip is or how to unclip it. In the attached image I have overlayed a dashed box to show where I think the pollen filter is and also provided two arrows to screw bosses; note there were no screws in these.

Any help would be appreciated!

Regards,
DT

That's the right location yes, though yours looks like a blanked plate to me. I suspect filters were only for aircon cars.

Mine looked exactly the same and also had no screws in, mine has aircon but I'm pretty sure all cars will have a pollen filter? All cars i've owned in the past have had them regardless of aircon.

It was pretty tough to get off, I just had to keep trying to pry it out, you have to be quite firm, i was worried of breaking some clips or something but it came eventually, it gave way at the top first if that helps. Mine looked like it had never been changed in the cars lifetime, had flies and all sorts in it and was black, now it's changed I'm grateful i can breath fresh filtered air again.

Hi all,
I get to the same point. It's blaked plate. No access. I thought that they've maybe moved it to passenger side but doesn't look like.
I've tried to remove it as though that maybe it's clippers plate but NO!. I've made small hole accidentally and NOTHING inside :(
Very disappointed with Fiat.
Ps
I wonder if service would charge me anyway ;)
Ps
Only way to have it done is to get plate from scrap yard, remove blanked plate (should be possible as very thin) and fit pollen filter.

I have a 2006 Dynamic 1.2 without aircon.

There is no filter - the cover where there would be access to the filter is moulded on and not removable without breaking it
