Hi, just wanted some opinions/advice.

I noticed my backbox is starting to go on my 100HP. After I get the cambelt done in a couple of months I may upgrade to a Magneti Marelli exhaust.

Do any Panda owners here have one of these on their car?

Found a couple of foreign (German?) sites that stock the rear silencer but unsure whether to change to a Magneti centrepipe as well?...
 
I had the same question a while ago but noone here seemed to have that fitted at the time.

Can you post the site you found it?

If you search my old posts you will find an italian site I found it, with the £ being strong now it becomes even cheaper buying in €.

I believe the centre section is straight through so it will make the car very loud.
 
Cheapest I found appears to be a German site called 'Italo-welt.de'

Maybe I'll just go with a standard centrepipe and the Magneti backbox then.

Is yours still standard then?
 
I purchased a Magneti centre pipe for mine. Ill bump my thread up as it has where i got it from and a video

How much is the Marelli one from "your" site?
Yes, still standard, I use the car to commute 160 miles daily so I can't stand noise.
I am waiting for someone else to try the Marelli first before I commit.

It's about 137 euros, approximately £100.

Ah I see. Yeah- in the video I've seen on YouTube the Magneti centrepipe and backbox is exactly the sound I'm after, I just have reservations about it being too loud now.

That's a VERY good price!
 
Still only about £105, haven't looked at delivery costs yet though...
 
Interested in this also and could be tempted by a group buy.

I use the car with a commute so am also interested in the noise levels if standard centre pipe and this backbox. Would be nice to have something a bit more sporty/raspy :)

Yes it should be quite straight forward hoping it is plug and play. I have an impact wrench that should be able to undo rusted bolts.

Let's get the numbers going and see if can achieve a discount.
I am looking for exactly the same, something a little more sporty but not loud/droning.

There is something about the particular tone/pitch/note of the Magneti that appeals, it sounds 'exotic' rather than just deep and bassy imo...

I like your thinking...we could whack a drafted email through a German translator then send it and see what happens :)
 
It could turn into a seen from 'allo 'allo, I am keeping a eye on this one...
