311 55 1.1 Active - Cocktail Blue - Cumbria

I just bought it about an hour ago :)

Hi lads, I joined this forum few days ago and I should add my Panda here.
So I have Panda 1.3mjt, 2005. White, with 210K Km now.

First post. It's actually my daughters car really, but we bought it a year ago in anticipation of her getting through her test. She's been driving it since October, loves the car, hates the black box her insurance made her have. Bought with only 19k on it, for £1800, lucky eBay find, idiot dealer listed it ending 3.30 in the afternoon. He actually said he was disappointed it hadn't made more:D
So

315 - 2005, 1.1 Active, Grey Met, Flitwick, Beds.

All ok I hope? What happened? Any pics?

Yeah, all OK thanks. Only me involved thank goodness.
No excuses - attempted a bend too fast, lost it and ended up in a field. Damage looked superficial, but must have been beyond economical repair...lots of scratches and lost all oil, so sump must have been damaged too. Just waiting for cheque from insurer, then I'll be on the hunt for Panda #2 ....white hopefully :)

315 - 06 Black 1.1 Active. Llanelli South Wales. Brought on 18th March 2014 moved from a 02 Astra needed a smaller car. New member to the forum

This is my lady, in Crewe, still with 28000 on the clock - picture take at Brooklands not Crewe.... had her for a year almost.

07 Black 100Hp - Malta (I know, why a 100Hp on these roads!) I'm working on a solution!

#321 - An 07 plate Electroclash Grey 100 HP, bought yesterday second hand with 58000 miles (and a couple of kerbed alloys  might save up for some new ones?). I love it, because it's such a step up from my old 1.2 Eleganza (which was admittedly a good first car). Hoping to tweak it a little with some advice from others on here.

I'm from Kent, the TN postcode area, so if anyone spots a 100 HP with a plate starting YX07, that's me!

I know the 2004-2012 Panda 1.3 Multijet diesel is becoming quite rare. The cars have short life expectancy due to engine problems.

Cam chains going at less than 100,000 miles, nobody expects a cam chain to break as chains are expected to last as long as the engine. Result engine wrecked car written off.

Rain water getting into air filter and thus into cylinders wrecking the engine, car written off.

Short life clutches. Cost of a new clutch change dual mass flywheels etc often more than cars worth.

Cylinder heads tend to get blown. Expensive repair and skimming more than the cars worth.

Immobiliser and ignition key failure. Expensive repair. More than cars worth.
