Hi all,I have a Panda 1.2 MyLife Dynamic, without a split rear seat but with the 5th seat belt.I have tried many times, but when I fold the back seat down, it never goes flat (ie horizontal), there is always a slight incline. This makes it a bit difficult when loading (though not impossible). Is this normal or am I not doing it correctly? Is there a knack to it? The sit down part doesn't seem to lift up or slide forward as in some cars.Thanks.

The seat folding system in the Panda isn't particularly clever; the backs of the seats literally just fold down. There's no way to make them lie totally flat, nor any way to avoid the lip between the bottom of the seats and the boot floor.

You could, although it's not exactly practical, unbolt the rear seats and remove them entirely.

3 in the back of a panda! When did this happen, how can this happen?
The seat folds down, thus not upright, simple tick box Italian engineering, eh it works!
If you want them flat put something heavy on them.... Our civic goes flat, the trade off is the bottom part of the seat is very low which makes loading child a pain, the Panda seat height is much better for that sort of thing, plus kids can see out of the windows. So there is a trade off.

The three seats in the rear was an option. I don't have this one myself as I never imagined that three people could comfortably fit in the back seat. I opted for the definite two seat option of the folding sliding rear seat. It must fold flatter than the standard one as I've never had any problem with them. I'm wondering if the difference is the seat belt connectors. In mine they're built into the seat bolster. I'm presuming that they're different and probably need to be moved out of the way when folding the seat.

And yes, I'll agree that the Panda seats are the perfect height for child seats. Makes it easier for getting them in and out.

My grande punto don't go completely flat down when just pulling them forward. Ye have to pull the bit for sitting down as well and stand it upright, even at that you would have to be a miget to drive it as the front seats have to come way forward.
