My left low beam doesn't work but the high beam does.

I checked the left low beam fuse on the body computer with a multimeter and it is OK.

I destroyed my right knee in the process too. Please help me...

Have you tried swapping the bulb to make sure that it isn't faulty?

I banged my knee going back and forth between lights and driving seat. No heaven for me after today

Yes I tried another H4 but same results. Low beam not working, high beam working.

It's true I didn't check, sorry.
I am searching "dipped light" but it doesn't find anything. Same results for "hte plug"

I don't like that tutorial on that website... I don't like flying cables under the bonnet.
However, I can't just clean the connector. It will happen again and again.

No uprated bulbs for me. However.. I always have the lights on.
The wires are too the in, thus creating heat.
I hope you get away with not using a new connector. Tried that myself after ordering the connector and after a few months the original one was completely gone.

If one of the low beams is still working then the working bulb connector can be plugged into a harness like this....

Look on Ebay for H4-9003-Headlight-Relay-Harness-Wire-Halogen-Ceramic-Controller-Socket-Plug-Kit-/

The body computer now just has to feed an amp or so to the relays for the main and dip beams. The harness powers the lights from a fused link to the battery via the relays.

This is a very quick fix, I had to cut recesses in the plastic headlamp bowls to admit the cables and make a bracket to mount the relays. The Panda wing bolts are conveniently situated to secure the mounting bracket and earth tags. The rest is just plugging the sockets, connecting the live on the battery and tidying the cable runs.

This fix costs under a tenner, my Fiat main dealer's solution was a new body computer which now comes with an assistance kit (surprise) which would have cost over 800 euros fitted.
